Makes sense, they've already lost out on Fedor/Randy. Might as well try and find the next superfight to promote. Brock is already one of the biggest draws in MMA. If he beats Randy in front of maybe the biggest PPV audience in MMA history he might become the biggest name in MMA.
I'll bet you that the UFC won't give Brock the Mir rematch until he signs a long extension though. Dana will have to have some way to downplay Brock if he leaves.
