exactly. GSP was finally fighting a fighter bigger than himself. Fitch was at least 2 inches taller. The rest of the guys GSP has faught are the same height or shorter then him. Put him back in there with serra, hughes and he will look huge again.
As for him gasing out, there were several flurries where GSP tried to finish Fitch. Those flurries take their toll on you. We've all seen it, guys blowing their wad trying for subs, and going crazy punching, and when the guy manages to survive one attempt, let alone 3 it is a bit draining. Anyone else in the ww division would have never made through RD 1 with a beating like that coming from GSP.
