Are you kidding me? For a guy who once ripped into Rashad Evans for showboating and being disrespectful this seems incredibly disrespectful to me. Maybe Matt just realizes MMA is quickly passing him by and he can't handle the pain. On the other hand he's probably the master on what not to do against GSP. |
Hmm...maybe that's his version of a delayed response to GSP stepping into the cage saying "I am not imprezzed by your performanze." That, or he knows he can say all the shit he wants to about him, knowing that he'll never face him again. I liked Matt during his run...still do. But leaving mid-fight? (if he really did) That's a little...what's the word? Tactless? Classless? Either way, uncool. That was a pretty good fight, so to hell with the need-to-beat-traffic excuse.
