I think 30-40 million dollar paydays are ridiculous. I mean I'll speak up when a fighter is underpaid, but I'll definately speak up when a fighter is overpaid.... DelaHoya and Mayweather are overpaid. I think a fighter shouldnt make anymore than 10 million per fight. 10 million should be the cap.

ESPECIALLY WITH HEAVYWEIGHTS... I mean in the Tyson era I knew he would make upwards of 20 million a fight which i found a little much.

The way I see it. If you make 10 million per fight, and fight 3 MAYBE 4 times a year... you make 30-40 million a year. (Which is what most top athletes are paid) THAT is not including sponsors.

See I think guys like Chuck Liddell make a decent ammount of cash. His pay scale is 500k/500k, not including sponsors or bonuses.... so he could definately see a million or 2 per fight.

I think Rampage makes somewhere around 200k/200k per fight. For now I think it's fair.

What makes me upset is when you have a guy like Keith Jardine being paid 7k/7k to fight Chuck Liddell who was making 500k/500k... (then they paid him 10k/10k to fight SILVA, lol) see that pay discrepency? I wonder what Griffin is being paid to fight Rampage. haha Griffin is gonna get what, 50k/50k? That is the thanx he gets for helping put the UFC on the map :P
