Great, so if GSP wins, we get to hear all the "GSP outwrestled this person or that person" nuthuggers talk about how he should have a blackbelt because he "outbjj'd" someone. I'm looking forward to it.

That's because most people who make p4p lists are idiots and don't understand what p4p means...neither of Fitch nor GSP belong on a top 5 p4p list...they're both huge WW's who are generally much bigger than their opponents. When you factor in GSP's loss to Serra [regardless of whether he avenged it or not] he's just not great p4p.

Not busting on either of you, but if I haven't trained with his instructor/camp, I wouldn't make judgements of whether the belt was "given" away or not, or whether someone earning it doesn't "mean anything." Belts awarded in a given discipline may or may not translate well to MMA, but that doesn't mean they were given out like candy or aren't a worthy accomplishment.
