WAR FITCH!!!
The one thing that fitch for sure doesn't have better than GSP is striking. I have recently re-watched the last few fights of Fitch and GSP and it's very obvious that GSP has a clear advantage there.

Fitch's top game though is pretty underrated. The problem is that he isn't as consistent.. sometimes he displays a great balance between GNP/BJJ and the other times he's content with laying in the guard.

As for subs, they each have very few in the last number of fights. I don't think its very easy to compare that. You can make the argument for both sides easily. However, we haven't seen much of GSP's sub d, because no one has really controlled him on the ground. We have seen Fitch's sub d though and even though he gets caught in a number of submissions... he is very very resilient and its very hard to make him tap.

In the wrestling department, both their takedowns D's are impressive with GSP having a better explosive tdd. In the takedowns, GSP is more successful but Fitch's takedowns are much more fluid, which can be attributed to the wrestling experience he has. GSP is so successful in his TDs because of the way he mixes up his striking and wrestling really well.
