If it is a choke, or an ineffective submission... yeah.. don't tap... fight your way out... I am ALL for it.


But when it is an armbar, kneebar, kimura.. any type of real lock... just tap.. no reason to be sidelined for months over any competition...

You lose the match, you go back, and you are the better man next time.. breaking a limb ends up in you losing progress/time.
