LMAO, you are joking right? He stepped up in competition in the HW division lost. IMO the LHW division is stronger and more well rounded with Liddell, Silva, Rampage, Machida, etc. I mean even the middle of the pack LHW's have big wins ie: Griffin, Jardine, etc. I guess middle of the pack is not a good term but I would not quite call them upper tier guys. I know Griffin is fighting for the belt but I still put the aformentioned guys ahead of Forrest and jardine. Vera would be grouped with these guys, I just don't see how a drop to LHW helps his career. He could have fought a can at HW to get back on track and then maybe Gonzaga or Mir again or even Herring, Kongo, or Lesnar. A big KO or huge submission against one or two of these guys puts him right in title contention. I think his LHW stay will be short lived and he will be back at HW by mid 09.
