I'm disappointed, but not surprised at all.
TUF is a business, and one that has very little to do with the fighters themselves...it's about bringing in new fans and hyping TUF finales [and stalling a normal progression of title fights]; and far less about showcasing what the sport is about.
It's nothing more than a reality show. If nothing else, May's "scheme" get Jesse Taylor kicked off is a direct illustration of it being just like every other reality show out there.
I find it funny [in a sad way] that there is more drinking/housewrecking than actual training, but I think the casual fan doesn't care about training. They care about upper deckers and drama. But I guess that's why TIVO has a FF button.
I'm sure Mike's article won't enamor the UFC brass to him; and I don't think he's got the skills to make it in the UFC regardless...I'm assuming he'll be with another promotion fairly soon. But I'm glad someone finally spoke up.

The UFC used to be about the best fighting the best. I understand that the goal of a business is to make money, but their heavyweight situation makes them a pathetic joke.
