As for Nogueira, I completely agree with you that despite the ref not stopping it, Herring could have won with GNP. I do think though that Herring was more in shock that the fight hadn't been stopped yet and he felt like he had Nogueira hurt bad enough that if he got back to his feet, he could just KO him easily. Sadly the round ended and Nogueria had a full minute to recover and the rest is history. I do still feel though that the ref should have stopped it and had Nogueria had serious damage done, that ref should be held accountable. Shot after shot was landed and Nogueira wasn't defending himself. Needless to say, that same ref fell on his butt in the Tito fight Saturday night.
