Maybe those Asian Chinese friends of yours are bunch of facist pigs...i'm mix Japanese and i have a lot of japanese and korean friends (!00% Asians) and sometimes they also mistaken them as Filipinos, but they not get easily oppended and they just all smile and laughed.
They are Great People.
And you can't compare the phillipine peso to a dollar, b/c obviously phillipines is one of the most poorest countries in the whole word...but a lot of ppl there loves martial arts.
P.S. I'm from Asia so beleive me...Phillipines is part of Asian countries and yea Australia has it's own continent (Asian Continent).
