I call bullsh!t. This doesn't make any sense. I know this fight would be all about money but it still does nothing to legitimize Kimbo as a fighter. If it is fought under MMA rules, then Tyson wouldn't last a round. What brief training Kimbo has had, would be more than enough to beat up on a washed up boxer that has had no ground or wrestling experience at all. My understanding is that EXC was trying to promote Kimbo as a legitimite heavyweight contender. I don't think it makes sense to put together this freakshow if you want people to view Kimbo as legitimite.

Maybe I am over thinking this. Maybe they are forecasting the money to be too good to not put it together. Now that EXC will be on CBS, maybe to people that don't understand MMA, they would think beating Tyson would be an accomplishment of some sort.
