Interesting, but how close is he actually to a title shot? We'll forget about the politics and just concentrate on "rankings". Assuming you have to be at least top 3-5 for a title shot, how many UFC LHWs are ahead of him?
The obvious: Page, Jardine(if he wins), Lyoto(if he wins), and Chuck unless he loses again.
Wand might be if he wins, same with T. Silva cuz he still hasn't lost. Rashad would be the most interesting fight. Wilson would be the best striker and sub artist Rashad has faced. The only problem is that they'll be trying to push Wand, Shogun, Chuck, and Rashad ahead of him so he'll either have to beat one or more of them or hope they lose. None of these names should get to fight each other until Wilson, Lyoto, and T. Silva get their shot at one of them. Otherwise they'll keep getting the "yeah but who have they beat?"
