I'll reiterate again and nobody addressed what I said, as soon as a fighter that emerged that could stop his takedowns and was an above average striker Matt Hughes couldn't handle him, that man being of course GSP.
This is the future of MMA guys like GSP, thats gonna be the standard in 5 to 10 years.

To me the greatest would be a fighter who dominated and won most of his challenges he faced and beat every type of challenge he could.
Hughes can't beat or even come close to beating somebody who could stop his strength.
To me he is the 2nd greatest WW of all time.
GSP is the "current" greatest WW I would say but you just dont crown him as the greatest and most dominant of all time just like that. You have to earn that spot like Hughes did.
