Well, isn't it already painfully obvious that there is a buddy-system in the UFC? I mean, look at it like this, Hughes, Liddell, Franklin, etc. are free to do just about whatever they want to do and get the fights they want. I'm not saying they're not studs or anything, but they get whatever they want. Meanwhile, the guys on the outs, Serra, Tito, Karo, etc. eat shit at every turn and miss out on some pretty good opportunities that are afforded to those in the circle.
