I just find it funny that back when GSP was using his striking predominantly, there were all these questions about his ability to work his ground game, and now that he's gone wrestling/grappling heavy, now there's questions about his striking...

I'm not accusing you of anything, if you feel his striking is over-rated... cool... but how so? I'm certainly not claiming he's god's gift to striking... so who's doing the over-rating? Fans in general? Journalists?
GSP was striking with mostly grapplers... Penn was the first (and only) real striker he has yet to face and Penn made him look like shit. The welter weight division is void of some serious strikers for what ever reason.

And my original post was from way back when so it's not accurate to say that now there is questions about his striking as if I just wrote the post yesterday.

GSP's striking is overrated because he has no head movement, bad footwork, he needs to keep his opponents far away enough to be an effective striker, he has bad defense, he doesn't keep his hands up all the time.

GSP's striking is good becauce he has power from many different angles and he is fast with his hlk's and his sbk's.

And people of this forum overrate his standup...

Any other post from 6 months ago you want clarification on?
