Actually this fight is a real possibility. Georges has addressed it, Dana White spoke about it last night in the press conference. We just have to hear Anderson's take on it, but I don't expect that he would object.
They both have at least one more fight in their respective weight classes. GSP must face Fitch, and I think Silva must face Okami to avenge that loss from earlier in his career.
I am against this actually, I don't like these champions vs champions fights, pride used to do that with Wandy and I hated it then. First they feed him to Mark Hunt (80lbs heavier?), then Crocop, another HW, then Hendo. WHY? Why sacrifice your champ like that?
Sorry for the rant, GSP vs Silva would probably be a closer matchup than people think, GSP's style and athleticism make him a tough match for anyone, even Spider.
