Who knows, maybe I can't get an ear because I was "involved" in "incidents" in the past, but I know that if twanky was trolling a mod or admin like this, telling everyone their opinion is worthlessly biased, he would already be banned. The fact that harassing behavior like this is tolerated is one of the reasons it can be hard to defend some parts of this forum.

It's not against the rules to comment on someones post or claim that a user is biased in a discussion. You act like he is egging your house and calling your mom names. I don't consider commenting on the validity of someone's point as harassment. So unless there is more going on that you haven't told us, there is nothing punishable going on here.
When it turned to flaming I told both of you to stop it or I would hand out infractions. That still stands if you are harassed in a way that is flaming then we will give out infractions without a problem.
As for "it being different if it were a mod". Plenty of the mods have argued with people and not banned them. If I were accused of being UFC biased, I would defend the arguement and leave it at that.
