I can only guess that the majority of the controversy behind MMA will die off as newer generations grow up with the sport (assuming MMA can be called mainstream now). To me, if a kid grows up with a sport, even if she or he doesn't play or watch it, they won't intrinsically be against the sport. Joe Rogan may hate baseball, but he's not going to join any rallies to protest the sport. Once guys like Bill O'Reilly get too old to be on TV and kids grow up with MMA as a generally accepted sport, perhaps we see a list like this ever again.
