I dont know what type of MMA fan I am.
I have boxed and wrestled, just not at the same time in any sort of sanctioned fight.

I started watching the original UFC's (from blockbuster) in 1996 or 1997. At that time I was a huge boxing fan and bought pretty much every boxing PPV that came out. Was a huge Tuesday night Fights fan.
I still buy every major boxing PPV and now every mma PPV.

I have converted my wife to a boxing and mma fan and get 0 complaints when those sports dominate the TV every Fri and Sat night. (that right there would be a big win for many people I know)

I go to many local shows and support my local fighters by buying their shirts and crap like that.

I really dont see how you can call people casual fans that spend a considerable amount of their time and money on mma. I would not think that most folks on here are casual fans, who takes the time to register, read and respond to these posts thats only casually interested?

I do not train anything any longer due to ankylosing spondylitis, but would like to. Probably would get my neck snapped doing BJJ, and possibly even from boxing nowadays.
