This is ridiculous. The past three weekends we’ve seen: Marquez/Vazquez III - which absolutely nothing needs to be said about, a brutal 2nd Round KO in Haye/Maccarinelli, a war of wills between Diaz & Campbell, and an exciting heavyweight match ending in a 6th round KO for Peter. Now, we get Pacquiao/Marquez II? Insanity. (Also it should be noted we weren’t forced to watch the “new” John Ruiz come back and clinch his way to victory)

Boxing is stepping it the fuck up. Have you noticed all the ‘MMA resulting in the death of boxing’ talk has stopped? If anything I think competition from MMA has helped. I mean you can actually extend the list farther than above going back to (the dismal) Klitschko/Ibragimov four weeks ago and Pavlik/Taylor II the week before that. Seriously, I couldn’t be prouder to be a fan of boxing right now.
