I listed the accomplishments to sell my opinion. Garcia isn't ranked cause he's not in mma. Maybe the 45-1 is mma and grappling I don't know. All I know is the guy has fought at higher weights and won, he's a current champion and he's only lost once. After his fight with Beebe I think he's top 10 p4p.
The lighter weights don't get as much exposure as the bigger guys so I can't say wether he's fought cans or top guys.(wich sucks cause the smaller guys fights are always better than the big guys) If anyone knows for sure, please correct me. Given their last performances, I'd definately put Torres ahead of Rua and Filho. |
I know you listed the accomplishments to sell your opinion, it's just that the accomplishments are rather irrelevant to the debate at hand. Yeah I don't know where they got the 45-1 thing either. Actually Marcello Garcia is in MMA, he is 0-1 and his next fight is coming up soon.
I don't think any of the guys he's fought besides Beebe are ranked at all. I think you should have to beat quality opponents, not just fight and win in different weight classes. If you would put Torres ahead of Shogun you are nuts. Torres hasn't accomplished half of what Shogun has in MMA.
