-The point duduction wasn't BS I mean, if you watch the fight again.. he hits him in the back of the head as soon as ht starts pnching becuase mir tries to protect his face , BUT if you watch it again he Lesnar hits him 6x in the back of the head in 4:40-4:35 in the round. SO to see that, i'm sure Mazzigatti, warned him which maybe we didn't hear becuase lets face it a camera can only pick up so much, and really all you hear is the crowd. SO if you watch it again... you will see the 6 hits to the back of the head.. not just the one...

-I dont think that he thought no one could hand with him I just think that everyone hyped him up more then what he was. I think that he needed to convicne himself that he could actually be in the UFC where people actually get hit with hard kicks and punches and have hard submissions slapped on...

Actually, Mir made the mistake to kick a wrestler.. HELLO their game is goin for the legs.. BUT he really didn't so much damage to mir? why? becuase he was too spastic instead of actually putting force into those punches.. I dont think mir was worried at all... And it woudl have ended with mir winning anyways i think regardless

- I really dont think u can compair him to sherk.. it In the fights ive seen from sherk regardless if he finshed a fight nor not i think that sherk seriously put so much technique and effort into his fights.. where heavyweights in general aren't exciting to watch... I guess if you didn't train mma or any kind of martial art you would look for a knock out or somethign and can't apprciate the technical aspect sherk brings to the table.

- I think mir respected lesnars wrestling which is why he threw himself in there with some of the best.. AND if brck respect any of franks jiu jitsu then maybe he wouldn't have been caught in that leg lock? just my opinion...

Leg locks make me cringe in the same way watching someone get kicked in the junk does...

-The leg lock may not have been that tight.. but look at the size of brocks legs.. coming from experience when i fight biger guys/girls...some submissions such as leg locks and chokes are much easier to apply even f they are loose just becuase their limbs and neck are so much bigger.. Its easy to make something like that tight. And mir did his homework... so i mean.. gotta commend him for that he knew what the plan was and he excecuted it

- How did he probe that? when mir mad e a stupid mistake and gave him his leg hahaha, and then brock's hammer fits didn't do hardly any damage and mir looked soo relaxed. I dont think that mazagatti was wrong in taking a point from him like i said if u watch the first part of the fight leading up to when it was stopped.. u can see that lesnar hit mir 6x in the back of the head.. and ur telling me that he didn't deserve that point being taken away?? come on...

I doubt Mir would have been able to out box Brock... but that's too quick to make that call...
I'M DEFINETELY A FAN OF BROCK LESNER... AND CAN'T WAIT FOR HIS SECOND FIGHT!

-hes huge, the cage seemed small when he was on the cage and even theres was only a 10 pound diference on the fighters lesnar looked like a monster.
-he showed his humble side after the fight and thats fucking HUGE.
-hes married to sable and that my friends is one hot babe.

- wrestlers tend to tense up and i think that was his problem which effected his hammer punches.. instead of having his entire body inthem he just used the strength of his arm...

But what did we really learn about Brock's skill-set? Absolutely nothing.
We still don't know where his technique level is at, he didn;t wait for an opening or create an opening he just shot in for a takedown, there was no patience and if that is the extent of his skill, expect more of the same.
What would Barnett do to him? Fedor, Werdum, Nog, Gonzaga? I'll go with 5 leg locks...
Point being is that what we saw from Brock proves nothing because we have yet to see any patience or creating openings to land strikes, he just went ballistic with punhces and then got subbed.
We only know this:
His takedowns are great, he punches very hard, he moves very quickly on the matt and is suscesptible to leg locks.
We don't know how his stand up is, if he can take a punch or his conditioning. He looked like he spent himself going for the TKO so how frsh would he have been for round 2?
For me the fight proved very little, I'n not quick to jump on the bandwaggon of a guy who used his wrestling skills and no other MMA technique and got subbed in round 1. Maybe it's just me.

i agree
