Moving up to 185 he would no longer be the biggest nor the strongest. He would actually be a small MW. Which would mean guys would be man handling him like he does people at ww. That would make his TDD and take downs not as effective because he would be trying to stuff a much larger stronger guys take downs. Also trying to take someone down at mw he would have to deal with guys who over power him an can stop his take downs.
Franklin cuts from 220-230 down to 185 by fight time he is prob 200-208 if not more. GSP would be 190 an Rich has a few inches on GSP. Rich would grab ahold of GSP an he wouldn't know what to do, because he couldn't muscle his way out of it.
Anderson bullied Franklin around like he was a school girl. Anderson is tall an lanky but is very strong.
Anderson would man handle GSP bad. I know GSP can take Anderson down, but he can not keep him their.
Anderson knows his tdd is not that good but he is working on it, and against Franklin it looked like it got a little better. Anderson is about to come train in the states for wrestling. He knows that is his weak link and why he is improving it.
But GSP at mw would be just another mid fighter. He is just so used to being bigger an stronger that wouldn't happen if he was at mw.
GSP chooses to fight at WW because he knows he wouldn't be top of mw.
Thats why Franklin came down to 185.

ok i understand that, your right about that. but ive still thought gsp would be able to take silva down despite the difference. some comments that i have made recentely were biased due to being in the middle of a heated argument
but i still stand by on everything i said on pages 3 4 and 5 lol
