There was a misunderstanding in the previous match. The guy on the left (third place) was putting on a straight ankle lock on the guy on the right (second place) and the ref stopped them and reset them standing. Straight ankle locks ARE allowed, but the ref thought he was doing a heel hook or something illegal. So this guy was another ref, since some people got mad at the bad call from the other guy, and the new ref was just clearing up what is allowed... for a long time lol.

Thanks man, it was the hardest thing I've ever done. What I was trying to do wasn't really north/south, but a combination of side control and n/s. You can see I always try and keep one hand on their hip so they can't turn into me effectively. Maybe wrap an arm too. And if they do, I probably wasn't keeping the right pressure in the right places.
