I thought the system was fine the way it was. Deal with the people abusing the system, but leave it alone otherwise.

If I compared this to the workplace, I hate it when a policy is made by managers to punish all for the actions of a few.

BTW, for those that don't know, a lot of the huge reps resulted during the time that a lot more points were given per positive rep. If we had started with the current system there probably wouldn't be anyone with an infinity rep yet.
