I think that is a very good compromise. Sometimes I need to give out 15 well deserved reps in a day, but those times are very few. Five is too few and ten is a good compromise. Increasing the # of reps before repping the same user is also fair. Again, I would be happy with this compromise.
I just want to say (to address Noob's latest post) that the Admins at this site really do a great job. I'm a member of quite a few forums and none of them are run as well as this one. None. This site is really special for how non-egocentric the admins and mods are. The last thing I want to become is a populist leader against the admins, lol.
