This blogger is pretty reliable and I'm sure they have some information that MMAWeekly does not.

The next Hero’s event will be held in South Korea on October 28th. Not much is known yet but here is something from MMAWeekly:

Quote:
While Kang did miss out on fighting at the Hero’s event in Japan last night, he is looking to fight before the end of the year.

“There’s [a Hero’s event] in October, if not then, New Year’s for sure,” said Kang about his potential Hero’s debut.

I'll go out on a limb and say these are also some likely combatants:

-Marcelo Garcia (Signed)
-Takanori Gomi (Verbally committed)
-Thierry Sokoujdou (Said by his manager to be on the verge of signing)
-Melvin Manhoef? (He came out of the MWGP final show unscathed)
-Dong Sik Yoon (Same)
-Min Soo Kim (Just makes sense)
-Pawel Nastula (Rumoured to be fighting Kim at MWGP show at one point)

Nastula vs. Kim would be a gold medal vs gold medal Judo matchup and thus create a ton of hype in the Japanese fight scene, where amatuer credentials are a big boost for the profile of most fighters.
