As far as your assessment is concerned...well, yeah.

I don't think Nate is going to try to strike with Silva, though he could probably hold his own. He'll try to use his standup in order to hold off Silva long enough to secure a takedown, then try to GNP or submit him.

This has been said dozens of times before, but though the Spider is a BJJ black belt, he hasn't fared exceptionally well on the ground, and Nate is a wizard in that area.
