They have got to be wicked. So many people you wouldn't expect have accidently gotten addicted. By accidental, I mean they have started taking them for a legit reason like a surgery or chronic pain. I've got a prescription for vicodin that I dole out to myself very sparingly because they scare me. I've got to be hurting bad and maxed out the over-the-counter stuff before I'll take one. Works great for their legit purpose though.

The only effect I see with them is getting rid of the pain. I have never noticed a "high" from them, so I'm not sure why ppl take them recreationally. I've always wondered how ppl become addicted. Is their effect different if you aren't in pain? Anyone know more about this?
