Usually grabbing an opponent is broken up pretty quick, especially if your hoding and hitting.
And they are really doing their best imo to limit the effectiveness of Muay Thai fighters (no elbows, no clinching)
Its funny cause if you follow Buakaws career, and that first fight i posted against Kohi, you can see how dangerous Buakaw is with the knees from the clinch, not long after they started to strictly enforce the no clinch rule, coincidence?
Buakaw made up for this though by developing a really good punching game ( see the second vid against shootboxing champ Shishido)
Thats why he's one of the best fighters around.
