And yes he didn't have a great K-1 record, but look at Ernesto Hoost maybe one of the best K-1 fighters of all time never made the jump to MMA so Hoost will never be considered a great fighter.
Because Cro Cop made that jump he will be considered one of the best heavyweights of our generation along with fedor and nog.

Hoost is considered a great fighter and the best striker of all time. He was too old to make the transition to MMA but had he been able to make the transition in his prime, he would've been dominant, ther is no question about it IMO.
On these MMA boards though, you are certainly correct, and only the more knowledgable fans will acknowledge who Hoost is.
